Danielle Lay

Danielle joined NEA in 2017 and is a Principal focused on consumer internet and tech enabled marketplaces and services. She is passionate about companies and founders that want to build lasting enterprise value by providing goods, services and experiences that consumers love and need. Danielle works closely with several NEA companies including Block, Burrow, Formlabs, Goody, Moda Operandi, Patreon, The Well, The Wing, Transfix and Woebot. She previously worked with Framebridge (acquired) and Desktop Metal (NYSE: DM).

Prior to joining NEA, Danielle was an investment banker at Goldman Sachs covering consumer and enterprise Fintech companies and Asset Managers such as FIS, Fiserv, Nasdaq, Bridgewater and Trupanion. She graduated from Northwestern University with a BA in Economics, Business Institutions and Chinese. While living in Evanston and Chicago, she founded and operated a graphic design and web development marketplace called DesignWorks.
