Suzanne joined NEA in 1995 and is Partner, Head of LP Relations & Fundraising. In this role, she has coordinated raising $18 billion for NEA funds 12 through 17. Suzanne started her career at NEA on the information technology investing team and worked with many portfolio companies. Prior to NEA, Suzanne led the financial team at XcelleNet Inc., a venture-backed developer of system management software for remote access. Suzanne helped guide the company from start-up (as the 6^th employee) to successful IPO. She also worked as a CPA for Arthur Andersen & Co., specializing in emerging information technology companies. Suzanne earned a BS in business administration/accounting from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, a MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management, and a Kauffman Fellowship in Venture Capital.
