The Virginia Innovation Partnership (VIP) hosts the new “Virginia Ventures Forum” on September 6th at the U.S. Patent and Trade office in Alexandria, VA. VIP is a new statewide network designed to accelerate innovation and economic growth by bringing together universities, community colleges, corporations, investment capital and other resources from across the state to drive promising research discoveries forward. The forum features NEA Managing General Partner Peter Barris on a panel discussing his experiences and opinions on investing in early stage research.
